Privacy Policy

ShipSpeedia LLC ("ShipSpeedia", "we", "us") provides transportation management software for carriers, dispatchers, drivers and brokers. ShipSpeedia LLC is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to all users in all 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia and U.S. territories.

Information we collect

How we use information

To provide and secure the service, calculate miles, IFTA, settlements and invoices, send compliance reminders you request, provide support, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Uploaded documents are processed by AI only to read the paperwork for your account; they are not used to train public models.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that host, process or deliver messages for us under confidentiality obligations; with people you choose (for example, a broker you send a tracking link or document to); and when required by law.

Payments: purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our Merchant of Record. When you buy a subscription, Paddle receives your payment and billing details (name, email, billing address, card details) to process the transaction, collect sales tax and prevent fraud. We receive only your subscription status — never your full card number.

Text messages (SMS)

Compliance text alerts are sent only to people who have been opted in by their account administrator with their consent. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Mobile numbers are never shared with third parties for marketing.

Security and retention

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited by workspace and role permissions, and public tracking links never reveal rates or documents. We keep records while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax and FMCSA recordkeeping, then delete or de-identify them. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and regulators as required by the breach-notification laws of every U.S. state.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live — including California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Delaware, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Nebraska, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky, Rhode Island and other states with privacy laws — you may have the right to:

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out. To make a request, email admin@shipspeedia.com. We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent. If your employer's account holds your data (for example, as a driver), we will work with that company to fulfill your request.

Children

ShipSpeedia is a business tool not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect children's information (COPPA).

Changes and contact

We will post updates here and notify account owners of material changes. Questions: admin@shipspeedia.com.
